To remove the mounting nuts, I sprayed it with WD40 first, then unscrewed it wearing padded workers gloves to ease the pressure in my finger tips.

Are you unscrewing the mounting nut clockwise? I have been unscrewing it counter clock wise and it doesn’t work. I just tried clock wise and I don’t see a change. At this point , I’m willing to live without one bathroom faucet for life. Lol

You guys always do the easy ones, what about the flat ones with the small wings ? What tool 2 use ?

the damn clip on for the sprayer. the gaskets broke on it and now im spraying all under my sink. there a way to remove the clip on without destroying everything?

Purchased for like $50 at Walmart. Loved it for years. The suction cup fell so many times after 2 years that the "sidekickick" cracked down the middle. Shower head still works, but I cannot find replacement parts. Closest contact info I had from the website was youtube. Rather disappointed.

Removing the locking nuts is the biggest pain in the neck and this video doesn't give you any tips whatsoever.

What if you have to lay on your back and crawl into a cramped space. Then have a nut about 1/16th of an inch thick that's basically stuck to the bolt so far up the sink and no matter how much you try to turn it it's stuck. That's even with showering with WD40 for days? I wish these instructions would use real world examples.

No way to do it. Cannot even reach the nut for the faucet!

“If you are lucky” you can remove the mounting nuts by hand? The worst “how to” I have ever seen because it does not tell you how to do the important part: get those stuck nuts loose from a tight space.

Mauvais système, en pratique il n'y a pas assez de place, sa prend de longue tige de cope de 6 pouce en dessous pour être capable de visser, ou il faudrait être capable de visser les hoses avant , et les passer par les trous, et avoir un système, qui pourrais reserrer le tous facilement, '' j'ai poser déja les deux modèles, les longues tige qui n'apparesse pas sur vaux modèles, facile de montrer la pose de votre modèle, sur une table, dans un recoin de mur, c'est pu pareille du tout. Thank you for this video. 😀 If my faucet is not attached to the sink, but is coming out of my marble counter top - is it not possible for me to move the facet more forward? Is this ofcourse obviously not possible because the counter top has a specificically made hole for the facet to go through? The situation I have is whoever installed the facet put it too far back from the sink that water goes everywhere when you wash your hands or anything. Wondering if there is anyway to fix this. Thank you! 😀😀

What do you do when there is no room to use a slotted wrench to loosen the mounting nut? It’s too big for my basin wrench and i can’t find a bigger one.

My old faucet had a retaining nut that would not budge. Was the hardest thing to get out. I'll offer what I did in the hopes it helps someone: I rocked the top of the faucet out a bit and got bolt cutters into the space between the faucet and the basin, at the top. I cut the lines and rocked it back and forth until it separated it. It came out. Basin was untouched. Hope that helps someone.

Since I removed the basin nut, now I can't unscrew the flange. Seriously the whole thing turns underneath. What do I do now?

WHAT DO WE DO TO PLUG THE ARCH FAUCET OPENING WHEN NOT USING A SPRAYER, WHICH PART ARE WE MISSING IN OUR AMAZON PEERLESS FAUCET BOX ?? WE BELIEVE WE WERE SHIPPED A SECONDS BY AMAZON, SELLER. AFTER INSTALL WE NOW HAVE MAJOR WATER FLOW FROM THE ARCH FAUCET AT THE BASE WHERE CENTER WHOLE IS ON SINK, SEEMS THERE SHOULD BE A PLUG WASHER OR SOME TYPE OF PART. VERY POOR INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL, LIKE WHERE TO, HOW TO APPLY THE SILICONE WHICH SHOWS IS NEEDED, BUT NOT GIVEN THE EXACT PLACEMENT TO APPLY IT.

Remove the hand turn nuts with a flat head screwdriver, and hammer it gently. It should just have to get a little turn and it will come loose.
